Who is required to become an adult member?

- No, signing up does not make you at all obligated to volunteer.

Why is this required?

- AHG and our charter (Peace Baptist) require adult membership for child safety reasons- should you ever need to step in and help in an emergency. We also are required to have a certain ratio of registered adults to girls, so that we know that we are never leaving a girl alone with an adult, we call it “two-deep leadership”.
- Having at least one registered adult per family is a requirement in order for your daughter to be a member of our troop. We want our girls to be as safe as possible and our leadership team is small, so there will be times when we need a helping hand every once in a while.
